VALENTINO.......THE ROCKSTUD COLLECTION

Away from the bows and ruffles that dominated the Valentino designs, the Rockstud Collection is the new in thing for every fashionista. They've been around for more than 5years and each new season has seen them evolve. The designs get edgier and more daring without losing it's sass and I just can't get over the sexiness of the toe cleavage and the ankle straps that come with the very popular Rockstud Pumps.

LIFE AND LIVING.... LET'S INSPIRE

No amount of Facebook and Instagram posts or tweets can do justice to the number of random thoughts that go through my head on a daily basis. As a mother, wife, budding entrepreneur and life enthusiast, I face situations that I am sometimes able to overcome and some that end up getting the better part of me, leaving me wondering what 'this life is all about' sef.

Throwback to the 50's...

I have always said i would have fit perfectly in this era. All my personal favourite styles were popular in the 1950's. Take away the bold patterns and fancy adornments, most shoes back then were basic, classy, single color pumps, flats, wedgies and loafers which is a lot my thing.

PUMPS
In the early years the stiletto heeled pumps were all the rage. They were very tall with 4 inch spiked ultra thin heels.
Also called Winkle Pickers.

The upcoming presidential elections have kind of put everyone in a tense mood but that won't kill my shoe mojo and in the spirit of the hashtags that have rocked the social media scene in the past few months, i bring to you #FLASHBACKFRIDAY. I would be taking you back in time to some styles that rocked the 1930's.

Many types of shoes were available in the 1930s, but classic pumps especially the mary-janes called sonnets back then were among the most popular.
